Testing method:
- seeding of flows using particles adapted to the tested flows (velocity, temperatures,...)
- visualisation of particles path lines using a camera and a plane surface lighted by a laser beam
- image recording and processing
Applications:
- useful for the diagnosis, the design on experimental model or the setting of air distribution and diffusion
- usable on-site and in a laboratory
- the studied flow velocities may reach a maximum of 300 m/s
- the measuring plane may reach maximum dimensions of 10 m by 10 m
Other equipment:
- The visualisation equipment may be completed by a Doppler laser anemometer enabling to perform an air velocities cartography
