Testing of mid- and high-power air conditioning units
CETIAT has 4 platforms available, each with 1 or 2 climatic chambers
Tested appliances:
Air/air, water/water, water/air and air/water units with cooling capacities < 100 kW,
air supply < 35000 m3/h and water supply < 36 m3/h like:
- Chillers, air handling units, rooftop units, heat pumps
- Dehumidifiers, climatic cabinets, fan coil units, cooling towers
Testing conditions:
The chambers enable to control the following ranges:
- for the conditions on air:
• dry T between -15°C and +55°C
• wet bulb T between -15°C and +40°C
- for water temperatures between -10°C and +80°C
Performed measurements:
- sensitive and latent capacities
- electrical power
- water flow rate
- coefficient of performance, efficiency ratio
